If you long for the sound of the surf, warm salty breezes and a waterfront view that goes on forever, you might be ready for a beach wedding. There is no need to go to Hawaii, Jamaica or any other distant destination for your beach wedding. You can find everything you want on the beaches of Virginia. To make the planning easy and stress-free, many couples will make reservations to stay in a hotel located on the oceanfront and have their beach wedding ceremony within walking distance of that hotel. Sunset is the best time for pictures. When the sun is low in the sky, you have more perfect lighting for portraits. That makes your optimal best ceremony time 90 minutes before the sun will set that day.

Professional wedding photos of the two of you and any guests at your oceanfront wedding site. Photos will include group/family shots, portraits and romantic bride and groom photos in several different settings at the beach. This includes a one-hour photo session after the ceremony, but you may want an option to add additional time for pre-wedding preparation photos, reception photos, or shooting in a second location. If you have 12 guests or fewer, the Bayside Wedding Chapel is available as a backup in case of rain, cold or general bad weather. The Bayside Wedding Chapel is decorated with a wedding arch, plants, candles and flowers. There is comfortable seating for 12 with a center aisle. A bride's dressing room is also available as an option within the wedding chapel facility.
