Ah, the romance of a beach wedding but with all the comforts and amenities of a traditional wedding - including the reception! Have your wedding ceremony and photo session on the beach and then enjoy your reception in a nearby restaurant with a view of the waterfront.

The Starfish wedding package is available all year 7 days a week, but remember that holiday weekends tend to be popular and we can only handle one wedding at a time.

The Starfish Package includes:

CEREMONY

Your wedding ceremony performed on the beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia. You can stand in the surf or on the shore.

Fee included for non-denominational wedding officiant who will file your legal documents with the courts immediately after the wedding.

Back-up rain location (large gazebo) right there at the beach.

Fee included for permit/application for use of the beach and gazebo.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Professional wedding photos of the two of you and guests at your waterfront wedding site. Photos will include group/family shots, portraits and romantic bride and groom photos in several different settings at the beach. You will receive a CD with all photos taken, large file sizes. This includes a one-hour photo session, but you may want an option to add additional time for pre-wedding preparation photos, reception photos, or shooting in a second location.

RECEPTION

Use of the Starfish Room at Lynnhaven Fish House for your 2-hour reception.* Minimum size= 15 people, Maximum= 50 people. The cost of the food itself is separate and you will be required by the restaurant to make a down payment towards the food & beverage. We will assist you with menu choices which may range from casual finger food to full course dinners. The Lynnhaven Fish House was established in 1979 and guarantees the best quality of fresh fish, the largest variety, best value and finest service. *NOTE: Reception times after 4 pm on Friday and Saturday evenings are not available except possibly in the winter time. This means that with the Starfish package, your wedding ceremony will need to take place at either 10 am or 1 pm on the beach so that you are getting to your reception at approximately 11:30 am or 2:30 pm. Since mid-day is not the ideal time for photography, note that it is possible to have a sunset wedding one day and a reception brunch the NEXT DAY with this package.
