Private, Elopement Style Weddings

Our two-person, elopement packages are becoming more popular. Some couples have found a great way to have it all. Plan a simple, but beautiful wedding for two, then later go back home and throw a big party for all their friends and family. We recommend that they plan the party / reception for about two weeks after the wedding day. That gives them time to receive their photos, select a few of their favorites and enlarge the ones they want to display at the reception. Is this a new trend? Having a private, two-person wedding one day and the reception two weeks later with a display of photos and/or video  from the wedding? Sounds like a good idea to me. They just need to be sure they have a good photographer and/or videographer.
